The Vocations in the Church
God has had a plan for each one of us from the moment we were conceived in the womb (Jer. 1:4-5). What God is calling us to is simply what would be the greatest joy of our hearts. We should not settle for what the world or culture is trying to tell us, but seek first the Kingdom of God, and we will find for our life that which is the only thing that can fulfill us. Do not be afraid. He has been forming us to fulfill this mission for our whole lives, and he will not abandon us. He wants our happiness now and forever, so we can trust him. Everyone has a part in the Body of Christ, so we all have a part in his mission of the Church. Each vocation is a revelation of God’s love and is so related that they are reflections of and for the other vocations. Every disciple has a vocation, and every vocation comes from the family.
